Our Focus Areas

At Bespoke ESG, we focus on three primary areas: Climate Action, Compliance & Reporting and Expert Advisors. We are currently seeking consultants who have experience in the areas listed below. While this is not an exhaustive list of the work we undertake, these are the areas where we currently have a high demand for experienced consultants to join our consultant roster.

Climate Action: 

  • Setting & Meeting Science-Based Targets: Support clients in defining and achieving ambitious science-based targets to significantly reduce their carbon footprint, from initial assessments through to validation and implementation of reduction strategies.

  • GHG Accounting: As a consultant, you may engage in boundary assessments, data collection, and inventory calculations. Your expertise will help clients accurately measure and strategically reduce their greenhouse gas emissions across all scopes.

  • Climate-Risk Assessment: Consultants provide detailed assessments of climate risks, including mapping potential impacts and preparing for regulatory changes. You'll play a crucial role in helping businesses identify key risks and opportunities to future-proof their operations against environmental changes.

Compliance & Reporting: 

  • Regulatory Navigation: As a consultant, you will help clients stay ahead of U.S., EU, and global regulations such as CSRD, CS3D, ESPR, EU Taxonomy, California Climate Laws, and SEC rules. Your expertise will provide a clear roadmap to seamless compliance and reporting.

  • Double Materiality: You'll assess both financial and environmental impacts, ensuring that sustainability strategies and disclosures meet the varied demands of stakeholders and regulators.

  • Sustainability & Impact Reports: You will guide the creation of comprehensive reports aligned with GRI, TCFD, SASB, ISSB, and IFRS standards, ensuring they meet investor and regulatory expectations while providing strategic insights for ongoing improvement.

  • Voluntary Reporting: Consultants facilitate reporting through frameworks such as CDP and Ecovadis, emphasizing sustainability efforts that go beyond compliance to enhance stakeholder trust and transparency.

Expert Advisors: 

  • Our expert advisors provide highly specialized support tailored to strategy and specific programs. 

  • Consultants in this area assess sustainability in materials like textiles and consumer goods, and evaluate sustainability certifications to ensure environmental and social responsibility.

Who We Hire 

  • Associate: At least 2 years of experience in ESG or corporate environments, ready to contribute directly to client work.

  • Manager: 5-8 years of ESG experience, preferably in corporate environments with project leadership capability. 

  • Director: 8+ years of experience in corporate ESG roles with significant leadership experience. 

  • Expert Advisor: Specialized expertise in a particular area; typically works fewer hours providing focused advisory support on key topics.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a consultant, you’ll work flexibly to meet each client’s unique needs. This may include: 

  • Working alongside a team of Bespoke ESG consultants to deliver comprehensive services. 

  • Collaborating with clients to create strategies or project specific outcomes. 

  • Offering specialized expertise on a per-project basis to address specific client challenges.

  • Acting as a fractional partner, embedded within a clients team.

What to Expect

  • Remote, flexible work: As a Bespoke ESG consultant, you control when and where you work, meeting client needs while managing your own schedule. Our team spans multiple cities, countries, and time zones, making remote collaboration essential.

  • Part-time contract structure: Our consultants work on a part-time, contract basis, allowing you to fit Bespoke ESG projects around other commitments, whether it's other consulting work, full-time job, family, or personal projects.

  • Freedom to work your way: You’ll have the flexibility to complete assignments on your own time, prioritizing results and efficiency. This allows you to focus on impactful work while fitting in everything else that matters to you.

Consultants are added to our roster after a thorough vetting process. Project assignments are based on experience and availability, we’ll reach out as relevant opportunities arise.
